I'm a computer geek, but I'm REALLY good at it. I weaseled what is a hobby for many into a Vice Presidency at a Fortune 500 company. But after 19 years, I decided I'd rather try to be happy. Now I work for a small software company. Thanks to George W. Bush, the Spectre of Corporate Downsizing has been replaced by the Spectre of Small Business Collapse. But at least the hours are better. I'm a PADI certified Rescue Diver. I've been diving all over the Caribbean and in Tahiti. I also dove the Bonne Terre mine near St. Louis, MO. It's an abandon lead mine and offers guided tours through overhead environments. Very cool, especially for Midwest diving. However, my favorite dive location was Grand Cayman. Big wrecks and big animals! I'm an avid reader. I read mostly science fiction, but not exclusively. My favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, Orson Scott Card, Harlan Ellison, and Hunter S. Thompson. I'm an aspiring writer. (There are only two types of writers, aspiring and published. Draw your own conclusion.) I may place some of my work here if the mood strikes me.
